Our Vision

For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost. —Luke 19:10

FMWM-Asia makes disciples by crossing cultures to share Jesus, developing servant partnerships to reinforce national leadership, and implementing systems to cultivate flourishing Free Methodist Churches.

And so we concentrate on servant-partnerships with indigenous leaders. We are intentional with appropriate evangelism to keep our work gospel-centric. We see the importance of the urban center as well as the rural and tribal. We place priority upon church planting amplified by ministries of compassion and justice. And we see the development of leaders as exponentially strategic.

Speaking of strategy, we are burdened to work to influence at least one million people in Asia toward Jesus through evangelism and discipleship.  We also see the need to invite, equip, and deploy 10,000 leaders to that enormous task, so we have created the Gethsemane Leadership Training (GLT) pathway. Finally, we prioritize a simple church definition, and the mobilization of every disciple to make disciples.

Reaching Asia for Jesus today requires ingenuity, boldness, courage, authentic relationships, perseverance, and a passion to share the love of God.

Every effort is grounded in a fervency to share the Gospel with Asia—a part of our world that desperately needs to see the love and salvation that can only be found in Jesus. And we're praying that the Lord of the Harvest will send us more workers!
